Members of our community put in the work to make the dream work. Through contributions in respective teams, everyone is appreciated for their efforts and together we make change happen! Here are our teams;

Research & Content

The Research and Contents team is responsible for the research activities of the community and delivering on content for online audiences. Through this team young leaders are able to relate and deliver forensic science knowledge, ideas, and events to online audiences.

Coordinator

John Ogunjimi is a Forensic Science enthusiast and a student of the University of Central Lancashire where he studies Forensic Science as a Chevening scholar. He possesses a background in chemistry with a BSc in Industrial Chemistry and a Masters in Organic Chemistry both from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State.

Projects

The Projects team is responsible for coming up with actionable ways to deliver impact with respect to CFA’s vision. The operative word in the this team is INNOVATION. Here, you are free to flex the muscles of your imagination to suggesting projects CFA can embark on.

Coordinator

Comfort Temitope Okesiji is a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, where she studied Law. She is passionate about Human Rights, the rights of women, justice delivery and a better justice system in Nigeria. She sees the potential Forensic Science has in addressing issues surrounding her passion.

Writing

The Writing team is the inextinguishable voice of the CFA community. This faction of our community consists of a league of writers who shoulder the responsibility of putting out articles that project the principles and potential upheld by the forensic science community.

Coordinator

Stephen Kenechukwu is a journalist and reporter with TheCable Newspaper. He doubles as a freelance writer and language expert committed to bringing to bear his opinionatedness towards advocating the cause to further drive the deployment of forensic science in Nigeria's criminal justice system.

Trainings

The section of the community is committed to delivering capacity building knowledge to both CFA volunteers and the public. The Training team currently coordinates the activities of CFA’s Group Discussion Series. An initiative aim at driving conversations about forensics and its applications in Nigeria.

Coordinator

Hassanat Kehinde Obanla is a Network Security Specialist with a background in Criminology and Security Studies from the University of Ilorin. She is committed to creating impact through her work, being a cyber security and Forensic Science enthusiast.

Meet Our Founder, ED.

Oghenefejiro Obire is a dynamic individual who dreams of better access to justice and improved justice delivery in Nigeria. This passion coupled with an enthusiasm in forensics led him to create CFA to take action towards actualizing his dreams. He has a background in Microbiology from Benson Idahosa University, Edo State.
